Based upon a commitment to quality, integrity and outstanding customer service, the company has grown to be a national supplier of stock and custom molded PTFE rod, tube, plate, sheets, gaskets and machined parts. These products are sold through a national network of distributors. In march 2004, IPM was sold to the Italian PTFE manufacturing group GUARNIFLON S.p.A.

The full production range can be processed with the following grades:
Virgin PTFE (standard and modified)
Filled PTFE (standard compounds )
High Performance PTFE based compounds (compounds developed for special applications)
Moreover sheets, skived sheets, tubes and rods can be, upon request, processed by the chemical etching technology of Industrial Plastics & Machine, allowing the PTFE to be bonded to surfaces of various materials.
